Every ingredient has a name you can pronounce, a source you can verify, and a reason it belongs in your dog's bowl. No mystery. No compromise.
Flip over most bags of dog food and you'll find a paragraph of unpronounceable chemicals. Ours reads like a grocery list. That's the point.
Whole, named animal sources — never "meal" or "by-product"
Whole vegetables, lightly cooked — nutrients intact
Purposeful additions — every item earns its place
When we say "human-grade," we mean it literally. Every ingredient in our kitchen is sourced from the same supply chains that supply human restaurants and grocery stores. Our cooking environment follows the same safety standards. Our food passes the same quality checks.
In fact, several of our team members have tasted the Sunday Roast. The verdict? "Actually kind of good?" One said it reminded her of a beef stew without seasoning. Another called it "surprisingly satisfying." We'll let your dog decide who's right.
The bottom line: if the food is good enough for a human to eat, you can be confident it's exceptional for your dog.
* Please don't replace your own meals with dog food. But if you did, you wouldn't be poisoned. That's kind of the whole point.
"Meat by-product" is a legal term that can include beaks, feet, intestines, and other parts deemed unfit for human consumption. We use named, whole proteins — "beef," "salmon," "chicken" — so you always know exactly what's in the bowl.
BHA, BHT, and ethoxyquin are chemical preservatives commonly found in pet food linked to long-term health concerns. We preserve freshness through refrigeration and correct portioning — the natural way.
Your dog doesn't care what color their food is — they can't even see red. Synthetic dyes exist to make food look more appealing to you, the buyer. We skip them entirely. Our food looks exactly like what it is: real, cooked food.
Corn, wheat, and soy are cheap fillers that inflate ingredient lists and caloric density without nutritional value. When we do use grains, it's purposeful — like brown rice for digestibility — never as a bulk-up ingredient.
These ingredients are common in "healthy" pet food brands. They will never appear in ours.
